Thank you for your question regarding mastitis detection in dairy goats. The Mas-D-Tec is calibrated to detect subclinical mastitis in dairy cows. It is not calibrated to give accurate results in dairy goat operations. Testing goats for mastitis requires more traditional pathways such as milk cultures or CMT (California Mastitis Test) to detect mastitis in dairy goats. Find all our mastitis detection options here.
